Fashion Trends Update: Super stylish summer raincoats

Published, 2 years ago

Rain rain go away…. actually, come in light spring showers so we can look uber chic in our newly acquired summer waterproofs.

Taking a leaf out of last summer’s rainy days, the fashion industry has jumped on board with the unpredictability of British weather to provide us with some great fair-weathered waterproof jackets.

An ideal accompaniment to your sundresses, sunglasses, and Wellington boots, make sure you’ve also now got your perfect waterproof coat to hand too.

Spotted at Max Mara, Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander, Sportmax, and Etro, you will find waterproof jackets that are funky, stylish and above all else, designed to keep you dry!

Offering the most practical solutions, this seasons raincoat takes on an air of sophistication, with jackets promoting multiple pockets, hands-free dressing, classic status coats matched with clever design details and more.

From the classic raincoat and long line leather coats from Prada and Alexa Chung, you will also see trench coats from Kate Spade and Burberry, as well as oversized blazers from Anna Quan and Balenciaga all making an appearance this summer.

One thing is for sure; however, mid-thigh lengths will be most favourable, as will be the temptation for tassels mixed with vibrant looking colours and shades.

On trend and completely practical, what’s not to love!
